memory

I’m pretty sure I have some wacked memory up there in my brain. It likes to play games with me, and I’m pretty sure I’m loosing.

A while ago I was trying to remember the 4 digit combo for opening the garage, so I could give it to a friend to get in later when I was gone. Of course I can’t produce the code off the top of my head, so walk over and try and punch in the code, to see if that would jog my near defunct memory. Well by trying to think of the code first, before punching it in, my brain decided I had followed the incorrect procedure, and locked off that part of my head.

The next week another friend was at my house while I was out, and called me to see if he could get something inside real quick. So I figured enough time had passed so I should be able to remember it by now. Still no luck, so I wrote it off as forever locked away in my brain.

So on sunday this week, I randomly walked outside into the back yard, ( Totally unrelated to anything to do with the garage. ) and this 4 digit number just pops into my head. I had a feeling that it might be the code, so I went and tried it. Sure enough, it works just fine. Stupid brain. :p

Back at the moby concert on the 1st of this month, he played this disco-ish rave style song that I really liked. After the concert I thought of the song, but couldn’t remember anything about it really other than the fact that I really liked it. Well last night I went to bed and was humming / singing this song in my head, when all of a sudden I realize that it was the song moby played that I have been trying to remember.

Just got back from a really awesome moby concert. It was really neat to see him live, and to hear all the old rave songs. I am very glad I went even though It was all by my lonesome. ( couldn’t convince any friends to go.) I got in for $20 from a guy selling tickets at the door so I was happy. And now it is 12:23 and I’m wired and pumped. Haha. :p Time to put some moby on the playlist and try to sleep. (yea right that will work.)
I really respect moby. He is bald and funny, and makes awesome music. He seems like someone you can hang with and have a lot of fun. And did i mention he got gwen to lick his head. *That* is sweet. I would shave my head for that.

too little time

I don’t think I will ever have enough time. It is so elusive, and I waste so much of it. Maybe I shouldn’t worry about it so much and just be, but I thrive so much on accomplishment. Feeling like I have done something to better myself, or created something that I can share with others that they may enjoy. It is balancing these things with my other side that just wants to relax and sit around and be entertained that is hard. Too far one way, I tire myself out. On the other side if I am just sitting around I will quickly go stir crazy. So end the end, it all comes back to time. I just don’t have enough. See, here I am again, using up the time that I should be sleeping.
